The H2020 CANDID project (Checking Assumptions aND promoting responsibility in smart Development projects) has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 732561. Work programme ICT-35-2016: “Information and Communication Technologies: Topic: Enabling responsible ICT-related research and innovation”.
The Data Protection Official for Research, NSD – Norwegian Centre for Research Data was notified.
CANDID is coordinated by the University of Bergen and in collaboration with the University of Edinburgh, Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, the University of Surrey, and Vrije Universiteit.
In accordance with the principles of the Norwegian data protection law of 2000 (LOV-2000-04-14-31), all answers supplied by project respondents will be stored securely and their identities will be known and answers will be looked at only by responsible members of the CANDID team. After the completion of the project, answers will be anonymised and stored in a public repository. Before the data is made public, any personal or sensitive information will be deleted. Names will appear in the acknowledgment section of the project webpage only if requested. Participation in this research is voluntarily and participation can be withdrawn at any time. The information provided will be used for the completion of this research project and in open-access scientific publications and public reports. The study has been notified to the Data Protection Official for Research, NSD – Norwegian Centre for Research Data.
